What is Microneedling?
Microneedling also known as Collagen Induction Therapy helps to effectively improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, stretch marks, pigmentation, melasma and rosacea.
What does Microneedling do?
Our Microneedling device uses 12 very fine, surgical stainless steel needles to create micro-injuries to the skin. The micro-injuries increase collagen production and allow 80% more product to be penetrated and absorbed into the skin. The results are overall healthier looking skin with fewer signs of aging.
How many treatments will I need?
Each client varies with the amount of treatments they may need, depending on the desired results the client is looking to achieve. In most cases we suggest a series of 4 treatments spaced apart every other week for optimal results.
Does the treatment hurt?
Before the treatment a topical anesthetic is applied to the skin to make the treatment more comfortable. Clients can expect to feel vibration against the skin.
Is there downtime?
Clients can expect to leave their appointment slightly red/pink. Redness should fade 1-3 days after treatment. After 3-7 days the micro-injuries are hardly noticeable. Clients can wear mineral makeup 24-48 hours after treatment.
